Rapid Synthesis of Novel Pyrazino-Pyrido-Pyrimidinones Derived from Fumiquinazoline Alkaloids

Marcelo F. Marchiori ; Ivone Carvalho

2,5-Diketopiperazine-derived quinazolinones are key structures in fumiquinazoline alkaloids, known by their pyrazino[1,2-b]quinazoline-3,6-dione framework and notable biological activities. In this study, we synthesized 19 novel fumiquinazoline-like analogs, divided into three series (A, B, and C), with a modified pyrazino-pyrido-pyrimidinone core, offering potential for further biological research.
